Hey all,

Sorry but i don’t think i’m in a proper state of mind to continue to post large blog posts all the time, i’ll do it when i can. Please check my twitter often for short bursts of thoughts. The things in Japan are just so heartbreaking, the things i’m doing seem so futile, all my friends, family, in danger, exposed to possible radiation, constant earthquakes. i’m just on the verge of breaking down. There’s so much stress with everything i’m trying to do, all the projects going on.

The Firefly project is gathering contributions so make sure you contribute, because it’s not limited to writers or any fancy work, send in your messages and anything to be included. We’re hoping this will gather a large momentum, connecting with media, published authors, professionals from all industries, with people all over the world and reach out to Japanese people as well. We need this message to reach Japan as well as anyone involved in the relief efforts. Please contribute to make this happen. We’re hoping to drive up donations as well, (Still trying to figure out how this system will work) But in the future, perhaps if we can gather enough content, we will produce this as a final product and sell it, all proceeds going to the Japanese tsunami relief.

Other Firefly related projects in the future may be music collaboration CDs, t-shirts, artwork and other productions that we can create. This firefly idea can become a huge collaboration and a cross-media, cross-cultural movement. a giant multimedia scrapbook of sorts. Let’s use our talents to work for the good of the world. Let’s fight on together.

People and organizations are providing much-needed monetary efforts, but we as artists can do our part as well.

I’m also writing a song for the Japan Tsunami and currently i have a melody and piano chords/parts that is moving me to the verge of tears. It’s like an outburst, a pouring from my soul. Every time i sing i feel like crying. Hopefully this will have the same kind of power for everyone. I’m planning to create the Japanese version and English version, perhaps inviting another singer to duet with me. After that, I’m hoping to create a remix that will feature many different singers, musicians and other contributors as an anthem for the tsunami effort. This is jsut a dream right now because I’ll need professional recording quality and all that. But hopefully one day (soon) we can produce something that we can sell to support the Tsunami. This song will also be featured in the Secondhand Memories OST as a tribute to the tragedy and tragic events in our lives in general. I will post up rough draft recordings soon.

All these huge ideas are budding and trying to gain momentum. Please Please Please do your part by spreading the word about Firefly and contributing. I seriously want everyone, anyone, everyone to send me messages to include. Anything under 300 words works. Please please please. If you know anyone who can help out, any connections, contacts to industries, to professional prominent figures who can contribute and drive this momentum forward, then please let me know. We need to get the word out there about this. I will be creating a facebook group soon for this. please join in the effort.
